Wow! Cross country driving.

Yes! Your auto insurance will be able to cover you since you’re traveling with your auto policy, but only secondary coverage. Your roommates’ auto insurance will definitely the source of primary coverage in case you meet an accident along the way in Abilene Texas TX.

It is normal that an auto insurance policy will cover the damages and protects you. For your own good check first your auto insurance policy specifically the terms and condition part. Check also the policy of your roommate because most likely if the coverage limit of your roommates insurance is not enough, then your own policy will solve the difference. If you have other things that is not clear to you, its better to contact your auto insurance agent in Abilene Texas TX and open up your questions and clarification related to your auto insurance policy.

Before you go for the long ride and do the cross country, always secure the basic things that a driver needs (Drivers license, auto insurance card and contact number of your agent) just in case anything will happen along the road. We never ask for it but accidents do happen without any signal.
